Course Prospectus Terms and Conditions

Terms and Conditions

 

Prices

 

All prices are published within the Course Prospectus, and are correct at the time of publication. The published prices do not include any travel, or accommodation expenses which the delegate may incur, in attending any of the courses.

 

Payments

 

The course fees including any Registration, Examination & Certification fees must be paid in advance and upon booking the course.

Payments must be made by Paypal.  Once a payment has been made the delegate is adhering to ADR Consultancy’s terms and conditions

irrespective if a booking form has been signed.

 

Cancellations & Refunds for Website bookings

 

All courses booked and placed through the company website are non-cancellable and non-refundable.

 

Non-attendance

 

Once booked on a course, you are committed to attend. Non-attendance on any course, for any reason whatsoever is deemed to be a cancellation with no notice, therefore non-refundable.

 

Rescheduling Courses or exams

 

A delegate requesting to reschedule a course booking or exam is not permitted, and the original booking is non-refundable.

 

Booking on behalf of a delegate

 

If a customer is booking a course on behalf of a delegate, it is the customer’s responsibility to bring these terms and conditions to the attention of the delegate. It is also the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the delegate receives all the relevant information including the joining instructions and that they meet any published pre-requisite requirements.

 

Course Materials

 

If course material do not arrive on time at the specified venue (including but not limited to transit delays beyond ADR Consultancy’s control), we will commit to replacing the material at the earliest available opportunity and make temporary materials available as required to continue the course and learning programme.  Refunds will not be granted for non-delivery of materials or transit delays which are beyond the control of ADR Consultancy.

 

 

Changes to Courses

 

ADR Consultancy reserves the right to change any part of the published course if this is caused by circumstances beyond our control. ADR Consultancy reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any course and will advise the customer as soon as the change is known, however will use reasonable endeavours to avoid changes of this nature.  For any courses which are rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances such as; Trainer sickness, low course fill, every effort will be made to provide a replacement Trainer or to reschedule the course at the next available date. We will try to offer delegates as many options as possible to complete their Training programme.  Location, Venue details and dates of all courses are published on ADR Consultancy’s website. Upon booking, the delegate will receive confirmation of booking detailing Course details, date booked, Venue details and times and joining instructions.  ADR Consultancy reserves the right to change the location and will advise the delegate as soon as the change is known.  ADR Consultancy will not be liable for any out of pocket expenses due to cancellation or any other changes to the Venue or programme.

 

Examinations & Certificates

 

Course Exams and Certificates are optional and at extra cost. Full breakdown of costs are available in the Course prospectus. At the time of booking any course, you must specify whether you wish to undertake an exam attached to the course.

 

Exams are undertaken in exam conditions. Conditions are closed book and consist primarily of multiple choice and open questions.

Pass marks for all exams are set at 75%.  Access to higher levels of study is based on successful passes of the award at 75% and above and at the discretion of the University. 1 resit is available at additional cost.  Results including Certificates are issued within 2 months.

 

Copyright and Intellectual Property

 

All intellectual property rights for all course materials shall remain the property of ADR Consultancy. The Customer / delegate agrees not to reproduce, hire, sell, lend or copy any part of the course materials or use them except for the sole purposes of reference to the relevant course or personal learning.

ADR Consultancy warrants that it will not knowingly include any copyright material in its course materials without licence or consent.

 

The website and all products and services within ADR Consultancy portfolio are protected by copyrights, trademarks and subject to intellectual property rights. Therefore all intellectual property belongs to ADR Consultancy.

You may not copy, sell, reproduce, distribute, download, modify, or display and of the intellectual property of the site, or any part of the products or services.

ADR Consultancy does not accept responsibility of content of third party sites that may be referenced by ADR Consultancy.

The following activities are strictly prohibited: any automatic device or manual process to monitor or copy the site of any of its contents, or replication of the site to any server, use of robots.

Audio or video recording of courses is also not permitted. Failure to comply will result in the delegate being dismissed from the course.

 

CIS Loyalty

 

The CIS loyalty card can be used at CIS training courses from ADR Consultancy and will be signed on completion of the course by the trainer. 

Attend 3 paid CIS courses  and receive the exams on the fourth course free of charge.  CIS Cards can not be used in conjunction with any other schemes and can not be usedin exchange for any form of monetary reward.

 

Personal Belongings

 

Personal belongings and items belonging to the delegate which are on the delegate’s possession when attending the training course are the sole responsibility of the delegate. ADR Consultancy accepts NO responsibility of the items, or any loss or damage that may or may have been incurred during the course.

 

Deviation

 

No deviation from these terms and conditions will be permitted without the written permission of a Director of ADR Consultancy. No communications either verbal or printed on our website can override these terms and conditions. If any of these conditions shall be held to be invalid or shall not apply, the contract and any other conditions shall remain in force and effect.

 

Force Majeure

 

ADR Consultancy shall not be in breach of this contract if the provision of these services are cancelled or delayed through any circumstances beyond its reasonable control. This includes acts of God (including but not limited to, fire, flood, earthquake, storm, snow, hurricane or other natural disaster) sickness, war, invasion, act of foreign enemies, hostilities (regardless of whether war is declared), civil war, rebellion, revolution, insurrection, military or usurped power or confiscation, terrorist activities, nationalisation, government sanction, blockage, embargo, labour dispute, strike, lockout or interruption or failure of electricity or telephone service.

Delegates must ensure that they can attend the training courses which they are scheduled to attend. ADR Consultancy will not be held liable, financially or actually, for their non-attendance, whatsoever the reason may be.

 

Privacy Policy

 

ADR Consultancy is committed to maintaining your privacy and the use of your personal information. If at any stage you have a question regarding the personal information that we hold on file, please do not hesitate to contact us.

ADR Consultancy will not disclose personal information to a third party organisation unless we have your prior consent to provide this or you have opted to allow the use of your personal information. If the request for your personal information is for a legal purpose, this we would class as an exception, but only after we have 100% fully verified the name or organisation requesting your personal details. This also applies to a third party training partner who is not contractually obliged to use or sell your personal information with any other companies or partners.

ADR Consultancy at no stage will disclose personal credit card account information that is voluntarily provided during a transaction process, may this be by telephone or via our secure web-portal. The exception to this would be if ADR Consultancy were to make contact with the credit card company for validation or verification of any transaction process purpose. ADR Consultancy does not have total control of how your personal information can be used by credit card companies but we would request they inform ADR Consultancy on how they may use this information.

It is our commitment not to collect personal information from customers visiting our web site unless they have voluntarily submitted their personal information via one of our contact forms that requires information which could be based on an enquiry or to book onto a training course. If you start to complete a contact enquiry form and decide not to finish, partial details are stored from which ADR Consultancy may use this information to make contact with you, only to discuss your initial enquiry which was started but not finished. From time to time, ADR Consultancy may contact you to inform you about a specific training program that is related to your original enquiry, request or training course.

ADR Consultancy will not take photographs, videos or any audio recordings of you during a course and will not use this material for ADR Consultancy own marketing purpose without your prior consent. Delegates are not permitted to take any video/photography/audio during the course without prior written consent of ADR Consultancy and its clients, failure to do so will be considered a direct breach of our terms of business and this matter would be taken very seriously.

 

Security & Encryption

 

We use the highest levels of security and encryption methods available for processing payments online. We strictly adhere to best practices of data protection and PCI (Payment card Industry) Compliance. This ensures that your payment details are as secure as they possibly can be when making a purchase with us.
